Women's Night Out Book Club
The book club met again Mon. Feb. 22nd at 6:30pm to discuss The Blind Side by Michael Lewis, the story of Michael Oher. We meet the last Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the library to discuss the book we've read for that month. Great discussion, fun, and fellowship are had, all are welcome, please join us!!

March 29th-Growing Up Bin Laden by Jean Sasson-Written with Osama Bin Laden's first wife and third son, it is an unfathomable story of what they endured in life having him as a husband and father. This one is not miss! We may have a special guest for this meeting!!
April 26th-Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson & David Oliver Relin-A wonderful and inspiring book about a man's mission to bring schools and peace to Pakistan and Afghanistan.
May 24th-Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom-And old man, a young man, and life's greatest lesson.

NYG New Orleans 2010
We now have 15 youth registered to attend the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this summer. The kids are very excited about going. Be on the lookout for some upcoming fundraising activities!
Youth Sunday & SOP Fellowship
Join us for a Youth Sunday & Congegrational Fellowship Event and see the Sioux City Muskateers in action!!! Sunday Feb. 28th we'd love for you to come and bring your family as we cheer on the Muskies!! Vouchers can be purchased in the Fellowship Hall after church services on Sun. Feb. 21st & Wed. Feb. 24th for only $8.00 each. The couchers can be exchanged for a ticket at the Tyson Events Center Box Office Entrance/Lobby on Sun. Feb. 28th before 3:30pm from Michael & Ruth Aguirre. Tickets are only $8.00 per person and there will be a public skate after the game with the players. The puck drops at 4:00pm and we hope to see you there!!

Mark your calendar on April 4, 2010 to worship with your brothers and sisters in Christ at Morningside College's Eppley Auditorium 3625 Garretson Ave., Sioux City, IA at 6:00am. Easter SonRise service will be celebrated with Dr. James Lamb as our special guest preacher.

We Need Your HyVee Receipts
The HyVee School Bucks Program has begun again! The 2009-2010 program includes receipts dated Aug. 1st, 2009 to May 1st, 2010. Please save your HyVee receipts and place in the drop box in the Fellowship Hall. For every $100 in receipts, Little Lambs Preschool will receive $1.00. This has been a successful program for years for our preschool and we hope for it to continue.
Please be sure to not include gas receipts, as these are not accepted. If a gas receipt is found in a batch of receipts they will not accept any of them in that batch.

St. Paul's Rollerskating Fun
Volunteers Needed
St. Paul's Lutheran School will soon be celebrating Lutheran School Week. We invite all Sunday School children to join us for an evening of fun and fellowship. We will be at Rollerama, Tuesday, March 9, from 6:30-8:30pm. The cost is $5.00/person. Come join the fun!
We need two people to volunteer to assist others in coordinating a circuit wide picnic sometime in June for the Sioux City area. Please contact Pastor Tim if you are interested.

SOP Church Council Plan
