Youth News for February 2016
Siouxland Gymnastics Parental Consent Form

Our next youth activity is on March 19th from 3:00-4:30pm at Siouxland Gymnastics, 3310 Line Drive, Sioux City next to the Explorers Field. Normally our youth activities are 3rd-12th graders but this one we are welcoming any of our youth that are 3 year old - 17 year olds. Click here for the parent consent form that must be filled out prior to the activity, please print, fill out and either send back by email or give to me at church, you can also put in the supply/copier room, there is a LYF slot to also drop off to and I will pick up. Please let me know if you child(ren) will be attending so I can give them a head count to have proper staffing. Thanks Betty for setting this up and getting us a discount!!

We will again be preparing, decorating and serving Easter breakfast on Easter morning. This is for all 3rd-12th graders. Saturday April 15th will be preparing the food and decorating/setting up the fellowship area from 2-4pm. Then the morning of Easter on April 16th we will be serving breakfast from 8:30am-10am prior to the Easter service at 10:30am. The menu is breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, cheesy hash brown casserole, sausage, juice and coffee. Don't miss out the kids do a great job, the food is yummy and a wonderful time for fellowship. Great way to start your Easter Morning!

Spring Craft Fair is Saturday April 22nd - This will be held at the community center from 10am-3pm like last year. We will have a sign up sheet for food donations and time slots for the kids to work during the craft fair in the fellowship area in late March. We will be moving and setting up tables on Thursday April 20th at 7pm. For our new parents we have two craft fairs throughout the year, one in the spring and one in the fall, we provide an awesome bake sale, taverns, hot dogs, chips and drinks throughout the fair, we provide a table(s) for vendors and they in return pay a fee to rent the space at our craft fair, these are our two biggest fundraisers for the youth group. The kids come and work the bake sale and kitchen in 2-3 hour time slots or the whole day whichever they choose or can for that date.

Please let myself or any youth board member know if you have any questions.

 Thanks,

2 Corinthians 9:11-12 You will be made rich in every way so that you can
be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result
in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying
the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of
thanks to God.
